What is included in the package? Are there extra charges to pay?

Included:
• Cabin accommodation
• Meals 3 times a day at the ship's restaurants
• Access to all main facilities (The Perfect Storm waterslides, FlowRider, laser tag, rock climbing, mini golf, swimming pool, gym, Adventure Ocean kids club)
• Port charge

Not included:
• Gratuities (paid on board)
• Wifi (available to buy on the cruise)
• Port tours

The one mandatory charge is gratuities (tips for the crew), charged at USD18.50-USD21 per pax per night. You can also buy wifi, port tours and so on.

For payment, when you board you register a credit/debit card or leave a cash deposit to set up a cashless account. Everything you spend on board is charged to that account.

Can I cancel or change my date?

You can cancel or change, but a charge applies, and the amount depends on when you submit the request. You can read the Payment & Cancellation Policy for more details.

What food is served? Is it halal?

Accepted Answer

Royal Caribbean has no halal food options, unlike Genting Dream or Star Voyager. Halal meat is available in the main dining room, but must be requested in advance (90 days before sailing). If halal food matters to you, Genting Dream or Star Voyager are a better fit, as both have halal food options at The Lido.

What is the difference between each cabin?

There are 4 cabin types:
• Interior: no window, most affordable
• Oceanview: has a window, sea view
• Balcony: has its own balcony
• Junior Suite: more spacious and comfortable, great for families

Interior is the cheapest, Junior Suite the most premium.

Can more than 4 people stay in one cabin?

Accepted Answer

No. One cabin fits a maximum of 4 people. The 3rd and 4th person share the same cabin, and the exact price per person shows when you pick your dates. Children and infants also count as one person each. For more than 4 people, you can book more than one cabin in the same booking.

Can I go solo?

Accepted Answer

You can. The cabin price is just calculated for 2 people. You only pay the port charge and gratuities for one person.

Can I get a cabin next to my family?

We will put in a request for nearby cabins, but the final arrangement is decided by the cruise line, so it cannot be guaranteed. Tip: book the same cabin type for a better chance of the same deck and adjacent cabins.

Question 8

How long does the cruise stop at ports? Can I go ashore?

Accepted Answer

If your route stops at a port (e.g. Penang or Phuket), the ship usually docks for a few hours up to almost a full day, depending on the schedule.

You are free to go ashore, just make sure you are back before the ship departs (the crew will announce the return time). You also have the option to buy a port tour package on board.

Where do I board, and how do I get there? What time does the cruise depart?

All the Royal Caribbean sailings we offer depart from:
• Singapore: Marina Bay Cruise Centre

Departure times vary by route, so the full address and exact times will be in the e-ticket we share close to your sailing date. You need to check in and be at the terminal 2-3 hours before departure.

Transport to the terminal and back is your own arrangement, and we suggest pre-booking both as terminals get busy.

Question 10

Can pregnant women and infants go on the cruise?

Yes. For safety reasons, only these 2 categories are not allowed to sail:
• Pregnant 24 weeks or more at the sailing date
• Infants under 6 months

Do I need a passport to board?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a passport is required for everyone including children and infants, since the ship passes through international waters. Make sure it is valid at least 6 months from the return date.

Question 12

I am worried about seasickness. What can I do?

Accepted Answer

Navigator of the Seas is a large, stable ship, so most people feel nothing, especially on shorter routes. If you are sensitive, bring seasickness medication and choose a cabin in the middle of the ship. The onboard clinic also has medication.
